I needed something to make for my cousin’s baby shower.
We were doing Mexican food and I had to come up with appropriate appetizers. The guac I’ve got down, but I wanted to try something new for the party and the blog. Oh, and did I mention I had less than a day to figure out what I was going to do and get it done.
These fritters are quick and easy. They’re always a crowd-pleaser when you’re looking at a room full of hungry faces. They also reheat really well the next day. I’ve been bringing guac and chips to parties and get-togethers for years. I first started with the powder packets that tell you to add the avocados, but soon found them to be flavorless or too salty. I then came across a basic recipe of avocados, onions, salt and lime.
