My uncle has converted his garage into a green house. This year his peach tree has been overwhelmed with fruit. He asked me if I wanted any, I said I would take a few. What I got was 5 pounds of peaches with an assurance of more to come.

Chipotle Grilled Chicken Tacos
Hummingbirds! Our overflowing flower pots have attracted hummingbirds. After four days of the intense heat wave, I went outside in the evening to enjoy the cool breeze. I tried to do some reading until I heard a soft buzzing, and this creature landed on my arm. I first thought it was a dragonfly, but then I noticed the long beak. There were four of them feeding on the flowers, but they wouldn’t hold still long enough for a group picture. Ah, well.
So I noticed that I haven’t posted any chicken recipes. When I first started grilling, I made mostly chicken and burgers. It quickly became bland and I stopped doing chicken and focused instead on veggies and red meat. Read the rest of this entry
Dal Gosht
This is my #3. We’ve all got a list of our favorite foods. For some it’s quite extensive, but mine is only 5 dishes long. I must’ve had a sheltered childhood. Whatever. I’m one of those people who don’t like to eat the same meal on consecutive days. That’s not to say I don’t like leftovers. I do… just not the next day.
